Bone Horrors and Rune Suggestion
Please, please, please let Bone Horrors *not* loose health over time. I realise that this is a balanced spell, like a timer - but.. by the time I raise the dead of one group of enimies and move to the next - all my bone horrors are dead. =/
Please, can they be based off the same 'system' as Diablo 2? I.. want to raise an army of undead *SO* bad. Please!
I know there might be a few topics on this, but I want my voice to be heard!
And for Runes - why do they only work with your primary class? It would be bliss for them to work with your secondary, too.
Because, I am a W/R, and I have a minor Ranger rune of Wilderness survival that I want to use. :P
Thanks for your time,
-Sid

There are different types of runes-the runes which all classes can use, and the ones work with your primary. Im not sure why they made it unusable to your secondary, i think it makes it more exclusive

Or maybe a spell that allows you to raise multiple undead in one shot so you don't waste time and they don't dwindle off to one or two by the time you get to the next group of enemies.

There is a spell two raise 2, and at later levels with a massive energy supply, you can easily do this 3 or 4 times, any more and it just becomes overpowering for people. Plus, have you seen Bone Fiends? The ranged attackers, those guys can be quite powerful, I've seen Necromancers pull three or four out at once and it was ugly.
As for Runes, it is a similar but not the same because of obviously remodeling and such, that you can't choose the secondary's armor. One of the biggest selling points on a class is that head piece, or energy recovery/energy max for most pieces. This is weighed against the primary attribute, if you want alot of energy, better be an elementalist, but, if you want alot of energy to cast a bunch of Domination Magic spells, you may want the runes and the mask for the Mesmber.

There is a verona's something-or-other spell that lets you heal minions. This would fix the problem, except when you go thru portals.
There's definately some speed & balance issues with having 50 minions too, that's the reason they decay. I suggested somewhere else allowing the necro to somehow get a single undead minion "pet" though.

A "pet" for necro's would be nice. Perhaps a skeletal horror? Obviously there is a way simply because that lvl 2(5?) 3rd necro trainer in the catacombs has all sorts of minions wandering around. 1 pet would be adequate, any more would be unbalanced. Also the number of undead is porportional to the number of dead bodies around.

There are tons of ways to heal your minions, and the minions get more and more durable as you invest points in the attribute. Even without going monk you have ways to heal them in Verata's Sacrifice and Blood of the Master, and combined with Monk or Ranger you get some nice area heals that can keep them healthy longer. Besides, you like death! When the minions die you get energy!
